LISD Fraud Prevention

Leander ISD lives by our 10 Ethical Principles. Because of the importance of exemplary ethical practices, we give employees a safe, anonymous way to report fraud, ensuring that any employee wishing to submit a complaint anonymously can do so without the fear of retribution.

LISD Internal Audit

To further protect against fraud, LISD utilizes an independent internal audit team, bringing oversight to the district’s finances and operations. Internal audit also helps the district  accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.
